Creative Green Energy Services for Landlords
An EPC and Gas Safety Check booked together is an increasingly popular service for the Creative Green Energy client, often required for a new tenancy two assessments completed at the same time is efficient and convenient. Whilst we are not Gas Safe registered we work very closely with Gas Safe registered engineers to provide these services.
Gas Safety Check ~ is an annual assessment, record of gas appliances installed gas fired and should be provided to your existing tenants within 28 days of completion, or to new tenants upon the start of their tenancy.
Electrical Check ~ required under a duty of care a landlord has to a tenant on any new electrical installations, an EICR is required for HMO properties, renewed every five years.
Creative Green Energy and the industry recommends:
- That a visual inspection of the property is conducted between tenancies
- Making sure that your property has adequate RCD protection
- Using a registered electrician for any work on your property
- Carrying out regular safety checks on the electrical appliances provided as part of the rental agreement
